Goals 2/3-2/9

Weekly goals have been a major part of how I am trying to keep my life balanced and become a better me. If you'd like to join me, feel free to write goals in the comments (or even link to your blog where you have them written down) and check back in next week when I do my Weekly Goal Recap. If your goals are too personal, write them down where it is convenient for you, but check in with me and let me know if you met them or not so that we can help each other. You're more likely to accomplish goals with you (1) write them down (2) tell someone else about them. Here are my goals for this week:

Mental Health: I'm continuing on with reading this book. Although, I just received this beauty

and I found out I'll be moving the day before book club. Boo :( . I was the one that talked my book club into reading this book, haha, whoops!
This one week push up in our moving date means I have a whole bunch  more to do this week! So, my goals are to decide FOR SURE NO TAKE BACKS if we will drive one car or ship both, decide if we are going to use PODS or ABF, and schedule movers to help us load and unload. No. Big. Deal. (Help me!)

Physical Health: You know when you start a week and you just know it is going to be a crazy week. That's how I felt this morning before I even got out of bed...before I even received that text up there. So my goal for this week is to make it to the gym 3 times. I'd be less stressed if I could do the full 5 days, but an important part of goal setting is to set obtainable goals. Also, I'm all about goals motivating you, not making you feel like crap.

This week's menu:
  • Still never did the CFA nuggets. We always do frozen chicken and I keep forgetting to pull some out so it can thaw!
  • This potato casserole, with green salad.
  • BBQ chicken in the crock pot, side of steamed vegetables
  • Pasta salad (cook the colored spiral noodles, add olives, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and pour Italian dressing over it...you can also add cheese)
  • Ravioli, it's just the frozen kind from Costco (again, it's going to be a crazy week!), green salad
Emotional Health: If you read my goal recap, you know I'm keeping it real. So this week, again, my goal is to do 2 out of the ordinary, nice acts for K.

Spiritual Health: See recap for keeping it really real :), I want to continue with my scripture journal and remember to pray in the mornings.

(We're also giving talks on Sunday...I thought about making this my goal, but I know I'm going to do that anyways. I hope my week isn't so hard I need to start setting goals like "Sleep": Check!)

ALRIGHT! Hit me with it! What are your goals for this week?

Extra question: has anyone ever used PODS or ABF? Any opinions?
